MMB HR Consulting was founded by Maria Makassy Brander, an experienced HR professional with a background spanning high-growth scale-ups, not-for-profit organisations, and complex stakeholder environments.
Maria has led and built HR functions from the ground up, advised senior leaders on people strategy and employee relations, and supported organisations through periods of growth, change, and increasing complexity. Her experience covers both strategic and operational HR, allowing her to balance long-term thinking with hands-on delivery.
She is known for her calm, considered approach and her ability to translate HR requirements into clear, practical actions that leaders and managers can confidently apply.
